You Know It’s Been a Busy Week When…

Wowee! It’s been a busy week! I knew I was operating in overdrive, so I guess I shouldn’t have been that surprised this morning when I attempted to slather face cream in my armpit. 🙂 Yep, I’m telling the truth. I simply got ahead of myself. First comes the deodorant; then comes the face cream.

So how’s your week been? Ready for the weekend? I know I sure am!

Happy Friday!
Diane

Super PS: Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We’re celebrating right here at the Blog. You won’t want to miss it!

  1. I am so ready for the weekend. I am going to the farm in what looks like a stormy day today. Went to the fire station this week and all the extra stuff that goes with life. Can’t wait for the weekend. And looking forward to youjr special offers next week.

  2. It has been a crazy busy week in the village. One indicator that it has been a good busy is when my students comment on how fast the week has gone. For me, I’ve been doing double duty as my co-teacher is out of town for her daughter’s graduation. Tuesday we had a wonderful awards ceremony. Thursday we had a one hour late start because of the spring storm that dumped lots of powdery snow and created huge drifts that had to be plowed for the bus to get around. I’m betting that there are lots of tired kids this morning because many were out late on their snowmobiles riding in the “powder” which is not the typical kind of snow for us. My own nephew and his best bud agreed, “It was the best riding in their life!” Tonight is graduation for our 4 senior girls, promotion for my 4 eighth graders and promotion for our 4 kindergartners. I’m looking forward to the weekend!

  3. I am so ready for a semi-quiet weekend. Knowing that there is only 6 more weeks of school left sends me into panic mode. At this point, my husband just says “See you in 6 weeks”. 🙂 I have a Family Fun night tonight with preschool/kindergarten, preparations for our End of the Year Celebration, and 2 more field trips. Yikes!!!
PS. I put my shirt on inside out and didn’t realize it until I walked out of the house.

  4. I did the D.E.A.R.(drop everything and read) with my 2’s this week and we had a blast. All 6 of my children brought a book in to share and we did a project with each child so we have mre to do next week. This idea came along at just the right time for me because I wanted to fined something that kept my kids excited about coming to daycare everyday.

  5. I attended MOM Congress in Washington, DC–took my personal days. WAs in the confence. Got very little sleep–flew home. Taught school–voluteered at the library, went to night meetings, didn’t get any checking done–no lesson plans. Attended my retirement celebration and am writng you at 3am –Tomorrow–early up to get my child and to her Scout bridging. Maybe then a nap and paperwork and lesson plans. . .

  6. I know it’s been a busy week when…I get to school and realize it’s only 6:40…that’s am! Yikes…

  7. I know it’s been a busy week when I’ve worn the same jeans I got paint and bleach on from two days ago, HA HA HA
