Wishing for Snow!

Please don’t throw a snowball at me—I’m wishing for a white Christmas in sunny North Carolina! We’ve already had snow twice this year, which is very much out of the ordinary for us, so I’m probably pushing it. Yet, the weather experts are mentioning a slight possibility of a Christmas snowfall. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s just my tiny wish, anyway.

My biggest wish for the season is that each of you celebrates the holiday in a way that warms your heart and refreshes your spirit for the upcoming new year!

Happy holidays to all!
Diane

PS: Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing some little-known facts about The Mailbox family for your reading pleasure. Who knows? There could be a pop quiz with a prize in January. 🙂

  1. I too am wishing for a white Christmas. I live in Colorado so many think that snow is a given, but this is not necessarily true. The mt. towns have been hit hard (100 inches of new snow in Silverton)but not so much here in the plains and the valleys. If this is all I have to wonder and worry about I consider myself blessed! Hope everyone has a restful, relaxing holiday!

  2. I’m wishing for a white Christmas, but I’m sure I’ll get a wet Christmas here in western Washington. Either way, it’ll be bright as I spend time with my husband, daughter, sisters, brother, and all of their families.

  3. Hmmmm, would you like your snow by FedEx or UPS?
I’ll be more than happy to send you a foot or so for your car and driveway! We’ve had an abundance of snow this year. We’re setting records already, and the real
snow season has yet to begin! Just give me your forwarding address and shipping fees, and your wish will come true!
Merry Christmas from a (far)-North-friend! (North Dakota).
    Sincerely,

  4. I live in Michigan and we have snow on the ground. We have already had a snow day in fact. But I hope it snows on Christmas. There is nothing better than the lights of the tree, family and a bit of snow.
Merry Christmas and Have a great new year.

  5. We have have almost 40 inches of snow in Southern Minnesota! So much that we are running out of places to put it!
We have had several two hour late starts and a few snow days! We are expecting another 5 inches before Christmas Eve. But I love it.

  6. We’ve already used 2 of our 3 allowed snow days here in Ohio..so if it’s going to snow more, bring it on for a White Christmas! Happy Holidays to all 🙂

  7. Ho! Ho! Ho! Have we the snow! Several times this year it has snowed more than 5 inches while we were at school so we had difficult travel back home. But NO snow days yet!
We had to hire someone to shovel off our carport already. There were drifts more than 4 feet high! So I’d gladly send you a little snow.
It’s getting very difficult to see around the snow piles at intersections that don’t have lights! I had a close call today!(Minot, North Dakota)
