…go with all your heart.” This is a favorite quote of mind from the Chinese teacher and philosopher Confucius. Another favorite? “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I could certainly share more favorites from Confucius; however, these two quotes are enough to fuel my fire for a Monday morning. I feel fortunate, ya know, to spend my day doing two things I love to do: learning and helping others. Am I rich? No. Am I happy? Yes.
I wonder how my parents instilled in me a desire to follow my heart rather than to be motivated by a large paycheck. Maybe it wasn’t my parents alone—maybe my teachers played a role in this too.
