Turkey Month

I’m not sure how this happened, but it’s November already. In no time at all, it will be Thanksgiving. So that means we had best start talking turkey right now. I suspect in the next couple of weeks, you might find yourself in need of a turkey pattern. You might want to use one for a writing assignment, as the background for process art, or as the prop in a math feather counting center. These are my current favorite turkey patterns–but you can go here to see our complete collection. Happy turkey month!

Why is this turkey so happy? Use this pattern as a writing prompt for your students.

This chubby turkey pattern is available in color and black and white! Use it with feather manipulatives for math activities.

A blank turkey pattern is handy for fine-motor activities like gluing colorful paper snips to the pattern or for process art activities, such as painting the pattern with a feather.
