Travel Tales

Washington, DC? An apple orchard? A natural science museum? Where have you traveled with your students during this past school year? Any stories to share?

Curious as ever!

  1. Since I am in the 2’s our “field trips” are all imaginary. We have been countless places on countless adventures and now that the school year is winding down I will have new friends going on new and old adventures together when summer session starts,

  2. PreK, Kinder, & First grade went to a theater production of “Snow White” in February of this year.

For our end-of-year field trip, our pre-k classes went to a local grocery store to see what goes on behind the scenes. 🙂

  3. We go somewhere every month, the orchard, the farm, a play, fire station, and just anywhere and everywhere. I am always looking for new places to go.

  4. We traveled with our students to the Greenville Zoo in Greenville, South Carolina. Our kindergarten students studied animals in our class and completed an animal report. They also made animals in art class out of paper towel and bathroom tissue rolls. We had a puppet show for parents and our preschool and special education friends were invited. Each kindergarten student made a puppet to match the animal done in their animal report.
