I’ve been reviewing the benefits of a gripping headline, so I gave it my best shot! You see today, August 30, is National Toasted Marshmallow Day. This special day has provoked my natural curiosity. There’s no holding back. I must know…

  1. Gently toasted so each side is golden brown yet cooked enough that you can peel off the outside layer and toast the gooey inside again!

  2. Moderately toasted – marshmallow center has to be almost melted. Not too much that it will fall off the stick though 🙂

  3. Gently toasted to a golden color…not brown and definitely not black! And, of course, in a s’more!

    When it comes to overdone marshmallows, hotdogs, or toast, my dad comes to my rescues and devours what I don’t care for!

  4. It’s funny that this is today’s topic. Yesterday, one of my students invited the whole class, I’m sure without his parent’s knowledge, to a s’more party. Haha!! I love marshmallows that are nicely browned.

  5. I organize bunch of the little ones in a bowl to look like a flower and then I microwave them so they expand to look like a flower and they are the consistency of fluff.
