This Week’s Goal

I love reading your blog comments! Y’all are so positive and energetic! It’s clear from your comments that some of you are already with students and others of you are looking forward to their arrival. Whatever your current situation, I’m sure you have a few goals for the week. Me? I’m determined to finish a writing assignment for another editor. I’ve turned in two assignments, have two assignments almost ready to turn in, and have two more assignments I’m eager to dive into. That’s at the top of my stack! How about you?

What’s something you hope to accomplish this week?

Smiles,
Diane

  1. The top of my to do list is finish setting up my class and get ready for Meet the Teacher Night and then my first day of school! Almost there!!! 🙂

  2. I am cleaning up and organizing – I am going through things – and yes am deciding to part with things I don’t use anymore – the rainy day is not coming it is time! Feels good – feel a little lighter – now if I can just keep that up and not throw away anything important it will be good!

  3. My “to do” list is long! School has already started and I’m working on all those little things you have to change once you done a little testing inventory and gotten to know your students. I’m searching for below grade level materials and ways to help scaffold my students with grade level content. I’m loving my new students and grade levels (3,4,5).

  4. I am in the midst of Meet The Teacher days and doing tours. Plus getting ready for a workshop and the first day of school.
But it will soon calm down for all of us.

  5. I am looking forward to starting on my beginning of the year assessments and final touches in my classroom. These are my goals for this week.

  6. I had a special needs student start today, his mom is a teacher. It was challenging, but it was very good as my coworkers were able to help me along the way. My other students seemed to take this new addition in stride which was good to see in that some of them will be staying with me for the new shool year.

  7. I am organizing and discarding things that I have not used in many years.I am also getting ready for Meet the Teacher Night and finishing the final touches in my classroom.
