Thinking of Oklahoma

This morning as I readied for work, I followed a devastating update from Oklahoma describing the aftermath of yesterday’s tornado. The news coverage remains heart-wrenching and difficult to fully comprehend. I was especially taken by a young boy’s account of his teacher laying atop him and several of his classmates in an effort to keep her students safe. This dedication didn’t surprise me; it simply made my heart swell.

All of us in The Mailbox family continue to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims of yesterday’s deadly tornado.

Thoughtfully,

Diane

  2. Throughout all of the heartbreak happening in elementary schools this past school year, ONE thing has stood out above all of the pain and sorrow. That One thing is the teachers love of their students and their dedication to the safety of their students. Teachers have been and are unsung HEROES who think of their children and others first. Praise God for the angels called teachers. My prayers are with all of these victims and survivors and families.
