For those you of who are working your way through the craziness of the final few days of school, here’s a quick and meaningful task for your crew. Ask each student to write a list of ten (or more!) things he learned from you. The results are certain to vary from taught skills, emphasized behaviors, and memorable moments from the school year. Then tuck away the lists until fall, when you can use them to create a unique back-to-school display!
Hang in there!
Diane
PS: This Friday is the first Friday of June!
Since I teach 2’s I will turn this exercise on its head and make that list of things I learned from my 2’s and their parents. I learn some valuable life-lessons from them every year, this year was packed full of teacher education.
Great idea, Julie!
I always do my favorite thing we did this year pictures. You gave me the idea Diane to use them to create a board for fall. Thanks
