There’s lots new for teachers from Classrooms by Walmart. For starters, you can create a Teacher Registry and post your supply lists and wish lists online. It’s easy, and parents can access the lists from home, school, or while they’re out shopping! Give it a try at classrooms.walmart.com. Plus there’s another new program that’s really exciting: now, with Cash for Schools, your school can earn up to 4 percent cash back on qualifying purchases at Walmart.com. So when parents shop, your school earns money! The items purchased aren’t limited to school supplies. Your principal or school administrator can get the ball rolling by signing up at classrooms.walmart.com/cashforschools. And as a bonus, Lysol® will award over $50,000 in cash prizes to the schools that earn the most cash back between 7/15/2013 and 10/31/2013. This is too good to miss; email, text, or call your principal so your school can start earning!

Don’t forget, send us a comment for a chance to win this week’s prize!

  1. I agree, the summer months do go by faster than the rest of the year. I would like to win the Elmer glue contest.

  2. Absolutey cannot wait to sign up for Walmart.com offer. Just waiting for board approval and I know they are going to give it.
    Yes the summer flies by.

  3. Summer flies because we are so busy. I am teaching summer school reading this year and quilting and sorting through my teaching stuff to re-organize and get ready for the 21st Century teaching after school. Whew>>>>

  4. I love that Walmart is giving money back to schools. Target has been doing this for a while now. My child’s elementary school has earned over $11,500 from people using their Target credit card. Way to go Walmart and Mailbox for sharing!

  5. Thank you for the teacher tips and giveaways. This will be my first year with my own classroom and I appreciate all the help.

  6. The summer weeks sure do seem to go by faster! I’ve already entered the Elmer’s giveaway several times, so I’m still hoping to win! That Walmart program is really neat, I’m definitely going to let my Director know and see if we can get our school on the list to start earning some money! I would LOVE to win a pack of children’s book for my Pre-K class, we could really use it this year!

  7. With every lesson built around text I need books badly. I am in my second year of teaching and spend all of my “extra” money on books. Help! 🙂

  8. Thank you for this chance to win and for sharing the information about the programs at Elmer’s and Walmart. Our group tries to collect as many supplies and helpful hints as we can to assist our teachers. 🙂

  9. I want to Say Thank You for the chance to get free books. Preschoolers need them and the only last about a year. I have taped so many books. I even have a box for books that need First Aid. Thanks again!

  10. I am very interested in increasing my classroom library. At the end of the school year we adopted the Reader’s Workshop in our school. I so much enjoyed it and so did the children. Leveling books was the hardest part, seeing I had to do the whole room. The kids love shopping for their books of interest on Mondays.
