Summer Bucket Lists

Bucket-artSince today is the first official day of summer, let’s talk summer bucket lists! Every teacher I know has a list of things he or she hopes to accomplish during the summer. I have one. You have one. My list isn’t written down anywhere; it just rocks and rolls in my head. Colleagues of mine actually prepare written lists, claiming the joy of checking off items is well worth the time spent writing the lists. Perhaps I should give it a try.

My summer bucket list includes painting my spare room, reading the latest Alex Cross novel, finishing my backyard landscaping, going to a Grasshoppers game (our local minor-league baseball team), sewing something (yes, this is quite vague), and (hopefully) a weekend trip to the mountains.

Now it’s your turn. What’s on your summer bucket list?

Sending sunshine your way!

Diane

  1. Going to the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Mesa, Arizona; my first trip to that State! I can’t wait to learn some new papercrafting techniques and tools to share at children and adult arts and crafts times.
