  1. The big thing this year is common core curriculum alignment. The dozens of free activities correlated to common core are such a time saver and they are fun!

  2. Anything with Common Core is greatly appreciated, love to use them and challenge the class. The book sounds great! Thanks for the opportunity to win it.

  3. Our school is dressing up as a character from their favorite book for Read Across America Day. I can’t wait to see all of the kids. I would love to add this new book to my collection!

  4. Some of my fifth grade students’ favorite books this year are Alice in Wonderland, Wonder, 39 Clues books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, Goosebumps books, Captain Underpants books, Firegirl, Tuck Everlasting, Gossamer, In Search of Delicious, The Chronicles of Narnia, Number the Stars, Hatchet, Home of the Brave, and Origami.

  5. My favorite is the whisperphone. I had thought of this as a great peer practice. But, with so many connections, this is great for small guided reading groups.
