Spring Forward?

It’s this weekend that many regions of the country are directed to spring forward. This idea of springing forward puzzles me. I personally find it challenging to spring anywhere after losing an hour of sleep. It’s more my style to fall forward in spring (from lack of sleep) and spring back in fall when the clock ceases to tick for an hour.

No worries. When my alarm buzzes at 5:30 Monday morning, I’ll block the thought that it’s really 4:30 AM and bolt out of bed like a bunny running on a high-voltage battery. I’ll down a double dose of caffeine and head into work as chipper as ever. I’ll enjoy the extra daylight, and I’ll be tickled pink that spring is on its way! 🙂 That’s my plan. What’s yours?

Remember to reset your clock!

  1. It’s not like this is our first rodeo, eh? I was born and raised here in NC, so I’m used to the time change(s).

I started last week– and included the same information in my parent memos– going to bed early to get my BODY READY. (And who couldn’t use a little extra rest??)

This morning I woke up (without an alarm) at 4:30 a.m. so I think tomorrow, I’m going to Spring forward just fine!

Blessings on a wonderful Spring ahead!!

  2. We are on Spring Break (March 11-15), thank goodness! Having a break helps with the loss of an hour.

Is anyone else out there on Spring Break???

I have already set my clocks ahead. 😉
