I like the LIncoln and Kennedy book.
We are working on comparison and contrast now.
What a great way to practice comparing and contrasting in reading/writing … the Lincoln/Kennedy book is perfect. I would love to share this story with my class. Since it is an election year, I find that my students are asking more and more questions about our presidents – present and past …. and, yes, future! Great way to keep the excitement going on presidential elections and tie Social Studies in when we can! Thanks!

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid is always a favorite in my classroom. Even the children that struggle with reading will pick it up and feel successful. Because of the illustrations, it doesn’t seem so overwhelming to many of my students.
Lincoln & Kennedy book would be great to add to my school library! The students love learning about the presidents…especially in an election year!
With the divisiveness of this year’s campaign, it would be nice to share with the students a time when politics wasn’t quite so nasty. Although we all know, it has never been a pleasant walk in the park! The Lincoln and Kennedy book would be a wonderful addition to my classroom!
The book on Lincoln and Kennedy looks like a great resource. It not only teaches about role models but can be a great resource for many other concepts such as comparing and contrasting.

I love the Lincoln/Kennedy book! I’ve read a few books about presidents to my kindergartners, 1st, and 2nd graders over the years, and am amazed at their interest in and hunger to know more about our country’s leaders.
