Prizes Every Five Minutes!

Sign up to attend our free online workshop, sponsored by The Mailbox and Walmart, and you’ll have a chance to win prizes that are just what you need for the classroom. Winners will be drawn every five minutes throughout the workshop! Here’s a look at what we’re giving away:

  • three-packs of Kleenex tissues
  • three-packs of Lysol wipes
  • 3M prize packs, including Scotch Brand tape, Post-it Super Sticky Recycled Notes, and Command removable hooks
  • $50 Walmart gift cards!

In this 30-minute session, we’ll take you step by step through the process of setting up a Teacher Registry at Classrooms by Walmart. Your Teacher Registry is perfect for back-to-school supplies, plus you can also create lists for timely special events such as a Mother’s Day tea, a reading celebration, or a year-end class party. Parents will get an email every time you update your list. You’ll save time, and they’ll save money!

Reserve your spot for the online workshop, which will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 4 pm EDT. Click here now to sign up. Hurry, space is limited! (Can’t attend during that time? An archived version will be available for viewing later as well!)

To add to the fun, submit a comment to this blog to let us know which of the prizes listed above are your favorites. You’ll be entered in a drawing to win $50 cash! Plus everyone who submits a comment will receive a coupon for $5 off a $15 order from The Mailbox. Send those comments right now. This contest ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 12, 2013. (Update: congratulations to Rhonda P., who is our lucky winner. Rhonda, we’ll be contacting you about your prize!)

Hope to “see” you at the online workshop next week!

PS: My blog isn’t the only place where you can win prizes this week. Visit Diane’s blog and Todd’s blog for more chances to win prizes too!

  1. I have already signed up for the online workshop, so I am really excited to hear about the prizes every 5 minutes!!! I would love ANY of them, but the $50 WalMart giftcard would be awesome!!

  2. Thanks, Laura! Please tell your friends and colleagues about the online workshop. Walmart will be announcing some exciting new intiatives especially for schools!

  3. Post-its are the best for reading, the Lysol and Kleenex are great for spills and clean-up, the Scotch tape is better than staples in papers, and Command Strips are useful for hanging just about anything up.

  4. The Lysol wipes are my favorite. They are quick and easy to clean and disinfect. Especially during the cold and flu season with my kindergartners.

  5. i think the Lysol wipes are best! can never have enough! easy clean up and gentle on your hands! for a second choice, i would choose tape!the School age classroom i work with, they use it like crazy! so, can always use more tape! i am excited for this webinar! thank you for inviting me!

  6. I like the gift cards because I can buy supplies that I need for the classroom. Thanks for doing this for teachers! I use your books all the time!

  7. LOve to win any of it,but we have been low on Kleenex for weeks and we are out of pencils so a Walmart gift card could help there.

  8. Could really use that gift card for Walmart. With the cut backs at school I am spending a fortune to get the students what they need.

  9. Would love to win anything! Walmart gift card would help in so many ways, we always need kleenex and lysol wipes.

  10. Free gifts are welcome

Our classroom will be thrilled if we win a prize. The gifts will be shared with everyone . We are a team and we want everyone to succeed!

  11. Of course, the Wal-Mart card would be nice but, I like the Lysol Wipes also. They are great to wipe things down to prevent the spread of germs to my medically fragile students.

  12. I work in a hospital where i hang things from the ceiling with hooks by Command for continued stimulation for my students. I always need more of these!!!

  13. Post its are awesome. I have the students put one in the back of the book they read during Reader’s Workshop, so that others can see what books they have read. I also use them for instant graphing.
