This Wednesday, February 27, is International Polar Bear Day. Now you may think, “I don’t have time for polar bears!” But you do! The link below takes you directly to the Polar Bears International website “For Teachers” page. 
Beneath the polar bear photo, you’ll find “All About Polar Bears PowerPoint” for grades K–4. (The PowerPoint presentation is perfect for preschoolers too.) Simply download the presentation and either show it to your kiddos or invite them to view it independently on a classroom computer. I admit, I’m a fan of all things furry. These bears are definitely furry (majestic, adorable, mysterious, powerful), and they’re at risk. Take a peek, if not for me, for the polar bears!
