National Children’s Book Week!

The first Children’s Book Week was in 1919–so the celebration has been around for awhile! You celebrate books and reading every week by reading aloud to your students and supporting literacy skills, but here are some neat activities to add to your collection:

Have students create OARP responses in their journals after small group reading!

Celebrate favorite books with this worksheet!

Have students chronicle favorite books or books that have been read
recently with a sassy mobile!
