Making Healthy Choices

National Nutrition Month is coming to an end. I was hopeful this would be the month I’d make some strides in eating better. Here’s my report card: In just the last week, I’ve eaten two servings of french fries (not at the same time), and I talked my workout buddy into eating Chinese rather than working out! Oh, and I had chips and salsa Friday night. What has happened to my willpower? My theory is a gusty March wind picked it up and gave it to someone else! 🙂

You’re busy all the time. What tips do you have for eating healthy?

Eager to hear from you,

Diane

  1. I make all my salad fixings on the weekend that way they are ready to grab for lunch. I also carry healthy snacks and keep healthy snacks in my drawer at school.

  2. I take fruit in my lunch each day — except I forgot to pack it this morning. I was all messed up on this first day back after break. 😉

I always buy lite products when it comes to milk, sour cream, salad dressing, etc.

I buy turkey products instead of beef when I can, and if I must buy ground beef, I choose either 90/10 or 93/7 mixes.
