It’s Fall, Y’all!

I’m sorry about the title of this blog, but even though I’m a Midwestern girl, I’ve lived in the South now for 13 years. So it’s perfectly logical to toss a “y’all” around every once in a while. Plus it rhymes. I just can’t resist a good rhyme. Anyhoodle, hooray for fall! This is my favorite season. I love the temperature and the leaf colors and the pumpkins. Sigh! I’m just so tired of wearing flip-flops and batting at mosquitoes. Good riddance, mosquitoes!

Fall was my favorite season in the classroom too, because the early childhood themes are just so fun! Just for kicks, I’ve listed all the themes I can think of that can be used in a classroom in the fall. Did I miss any? Which one is your fave?

leaves
apples
squirrels
fall weather
fire prevention
spiders
bats
owls
Halloween
pumpkins
scarecrows
harvest
turkeys
Thanksgiving Day

    • Hi Mary! That book is called Look What I Did With a Leaf by Morteza E. Sohi. It looks like it would be a nice companion to Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. 🙂
