Today is National Rubber Ducky Day, which sounds like a fabulous holiday to me! The rubber ducky’s origin is fairly murky as far as I can tell, but I’ve found a few references to the first rubber bath toy patent, which just happened to be in the shape of a duck. The year? 1928. So rubber duckies have been around for a while.
