Y’all must be counting the days until your holiday break. What’s the count? Three days? Two days? One day? Whatever the count is, I want to thank you for making this holiday season a special one for your students. How do I know it was a wonderful holiday season for your students? Our count is three also. Two play performances, reading buddies and a party! Woohoo!
Our count is 2 more days…well maybe 1…as we received about 5.5 inches of snow while we were in school today and it is still snowing. If we have school tomorrow..we’ll have party day and on Wednesday..it’s pajama day for 1st grade. We get to watch a movie and munch on popcorn. My students also have 2 more days to find the elf hidden in the classroom everyday.(Shhh…don’t tell them that on Wednesday, I will be hiding 2 elves. TeeHee!)
Started break today…got up early, made a cup of tea and curled up with a book…great way to start vacation!
