But with a little cleverness and lots of colors, his house becomes a work of art! Then the young boy in The Wonder takes an incredible adventure when he finally sets his imagination free.  (Update: congratulations to Susan, who is the winner of our prize.)

  1. I love Vincent paints his house it would go well with our color theme coming up Under the Rainbow.
I also visited the Crayola website and have saved it in my Teacher’s Website folder. It sure would be nice if I could be lucky enough to win any of the great things from today’s email.

  2. I would love the book called: The Wonder because I teach gifted 3rd graders in a Title I school and most of them are just like the main character in the book. I feel that this would be a great read aloud and help my students link what’s in their heads to the creative open-ended projects I assign to them.

  3. I liked the Wikki Stix. I think these would be a wonderful resource to use during our Daily 5 word work station. Students can use the Wikki Stix to build words.

  4. I have been enjoying the book reviews – this week my favorite post was Vincent Paints – looking forward to recommending the book to several parents.
