Happy Day!

In case you haven’t heard, Punxsutawney Phil’s forecast is in. Shortly after dawn this morning, this world famous groundhog looked right, looked left, and then spun around as only a groundhog can before uttering, “Just for you, Diane, I forecast an early spring!” 🙂

Well, maybe it didn’t happen exactly like that. However, his forecast is for an early spring and I suggest we hold him to it.

Enjoy your day!

Diane

  1. I sure hope Phil’s forecast is right as we are in our second “snow/cold” day in a row here in the Denver, CO area due to frigid temperatures (-15 as I type). Too cold for kids to walk or wait for buses safely. I will have to re-schedule about 40 parent/teacher conferences when we get back! Oh the life of a teacher!

  2. I sure am hoping that Phil is right…looking forward to an early spring. We’ve used up our snow days here in Ohio and will be making them up in the spring. Time to go through my collection of Mailbox ideas and pull out some fun activities for the make up days we’ll have to do!

  3. I hope Phil’s forecast is right for all of us in “Cold” country. It was sunny part of the day with temps that felt like or colder than -20 something. 3 days of inside recess!! There is hope for a huge heat wave tomorrow…low 30s. Yeah. And it’s our 100th day of school!!

  4. Oh how I hope its a early spring. Here in Michigan we have had a lot of cold days. I am unsure if I remember where the playground is. I long to go outside and just run with the kids.

  5. I hope Phil’s forcast is on the money.
We have had 4 “cold” days in a row!!!
Last one was to help with the gas shortage, can not heat the buildings…not use to -20 in NM!!!
