I get the CNN headlines via email every morning, and I skim them quickly. Very quickly. Sometimes I’ll open one or two and read the stories. Why only one or two? Because as my eyes glide down the headlines, this is what I see: death, shooting, hatred, unrest, pain, fire, dying, chaos, murder, Justin Bieber. I’m almost glad they stick some fluffy, celebrity-related news at the end just to add levity. Actually, no. I’ll be honest with you. Fluffy, celebrity-related news occasionally makes me want to slap my head against my keyboard until the pain makes me forget my annoyance.
So when I get some uplifting information—some news that makes me feel that there is a lot of goodness out there—I want to pass it on. Do you need a warm fuzzy? A “Go Teachers!” kind of moment to make your day? Read this touching blog entry, “Share This With All The Schools, Please,” at Momastery.com. It’s about a teacher who is making a difference in an amazingly simple way that you could use in your own classroom. It made me a little teary-eyed! And please share it with other teacher friends. It’s good stuff.
Let me know what you think.
All the best!

This is awesome! Gave me chills. My son just got his aerospace engineering degree. He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant for NASA. He told me after he worked as an engineer for awhile, he wants to be a teacher.
I also shared it with my school.
I just shared the link with my teachers as well!
WOW! Thanks for sharing such a fabulous article! Teachers need a “warm and fuzzy”, and this certainly brought a tear to my eye! How special, how thoughtful, how effective!!!
You’re welcome! A friend sent me the link in an email, and the blog was so good I knew I would have to share it.
Loved this since I first saw it. What an amazing teacher but she has done will continue through all of us
