For a few days last week, I escaped to a North Carolina beach. I’m not going to fib—it was absolutely fabulous! I slept in, stayed up late, walked the beach daily, 
filled up on fish and waffles (but not together!), read two books, and on and on the list could go. It was definitely a great time with great friends.
Today it’s back to the real world. Love it, but love the beach more! 🙂

We love to go to the NC Mountains. There are lots of outdoor activities from canoeing, hiking to water white rafting. We enjoy the cool temperatures in the mountains – it’s a great relief from the summer swelter in NC. I also enjoy just finding a quiet spot, indoors or outdoors, to read. The time in the mountains helps rejuvinates us.
Small town in northern Michigan. We love to scope out the wildlife and soak in the hot tub at night.

Anywhere I’ve never been before!:) I live fulltime in motorhome and use every holiday off to see more of our beautiful state and country! Love it!
My favorite is similar to yours, but is 3000 miles away – the Oregon coast.
