  1. A new favorite I just picked up at our book fair is The Gingerbread Girl Goes Animal Crackers. I love using the many versions of the Gingerbread Man. I could teach for a month just using these books, especially the books from other cultures.

  2. One of our recent favourites is “Perfect Square” by Michael Hall. We have also really enjoyed “Bear Hug” by Nicholas Bland, and the Willow books by Denis Brennan-Nelson.

  3. Petit Rouge, is one of the best ever children books. It’s a Cajun red riding hood, and you have to do the voices tog get it right.

The author also does Jacques and de Beanstalk, and the Three Little Cajun Pigs. They are hilarious.

  4. Books are my favorite. I love books. It is my downfall in life. I could spend a lifesavings on books! I have a new favorite each time I read one. I had so much fun today when I went to my son’s First grade class’s Book Bonanza. They each chose their favorite book, wrote a review about it, dressed up as the main character and then got up in front of all the parents and did a review for us. It was awesome for the kids and also a great way to share different books with each other! I will be doing something like this in my class!

  5. My preschoolers love Go Away Big Green Monster. They could hear it over and over again! They also love Mo Willem’s Pigeon series.

  6. Big Pumpkin by Erica Silverman
The Jalapeno Man by Debbie Leland
The Three Bears’ Christmas by Kathy Duval
Stop That Pickle! by Peter Armour
Any Pete the Cat book (by Eric Litwin)
Any David book (by David Shannon)
Are You A Horse? by Andy Rash
Way Down Deep In The Deep Blue Sea by Jan Peck
Going On A Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen
Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems
    Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems
The Gingerbread Kid Goes to School by Joan Holub
The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School by Laura Murray
Wild Boars Cook by Meg Rosoff

    Books are wonderfull!!!!! 🙂
