Bald-Headed Men

How’s that for a blog title? Couldn’t resist peeking, could you? Here’s the deal. My recent flurry of spring-cleaning has given me a new appreciation for men with a shiny dome. Truly! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve always thought Chris Daughtry is a fantastic musician and quite easy on the eyes. And I have a friend who sort of resembles Telly Savalas (a.k.a. Kojak), whom I describe as handsome in an intriguing sort of way. However, the bald-headed man who has stolen my heart this spring is Mr. Clean!

Have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Original? It’s the size of a small sponge. You simply dampen the eraser, take a swipe at grime, and—voila!—the grime is gone. I cleaned grout, windowsills, and door frames. I wiped out crayon marks and stamp pad ink. I even spiffed up a pair of white leather slides! I’m thinking these super-duper sponges are just what teachers need to tackle the tops of classroom desks and tables! If you’ve been putting off your spring-cleaning, give this fun-to-use product a try. Or, better yet, place a couple of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Originals inside a magician’s hat and invite your kiddos to perform the “magic” themselves. Happy cleaning!

Head over heels,
Diane

  1. I love Magic Erasers! In the fall, we had “Horrible Hair Day.” Most of my kids came to school with their hair sprayed in different colors. After coming off of the playground and heading to Music class, my kids were sitting against the walls with their sweaty painted heads rubbing off onto our freshly painted walls! A magic eraser took the colors right off and our walls looked good as new!

  2. I totally agree with you! I have been a fan of the Magic Erasers since they first they first came out. I keep at aleast one in my classroom at all times. I really like the idea of letting the kids use it. Great post!

  3. I love the magic eraser, but don’t let students use them. Children’s skin is very delicate and could be hurt by the magic eraser. I got carried away with one and had sore fingertips for several days.

  4. TRULLY GOOD AND FUN, BUT NOT THAN THE BLOG ITSELF I AGREE WITH KIM. HOW EVER I HAVE NEVER USED THE MAGIC THING.

  5. I love the Magic eraser too. I keep them in the classroom and at home. Love them but I really enjoyed the blog

  6. They are great for removing adhesive residue from tape too, we all end up with that! I would not use them with children though. I would not feel like that was safe. I guess it may depend on the age of children you work with.

  7. HUGE FAN! However DO NOT USE ON WALLS WITH PAINT the magic eraser will take the paint right off, I know from experience, when my son was younger he drew on his bedroom walls!

  8. I love Magic Erasers! I even gave some to one of the other teachers because I knew she would like them. I use them at both home and school. They are one of the best cleaning tools I have seen in a long time!

  9. I’ve been using magic erasers both at home and in the classroom for years. I have no idea how they work but they do an absolutely amazing job of cleaning. I have used them on everything from walls and tables to my dry eraseboard and have yet to find something they do not work on. I agree that they can sometimes be hard on walls with flat or semi gloss paint. Overall they are a great tool to have!
