Absolutely Incredible Kid Day

Incredible kidsMark your calendars! This Thursday, March 16, is Absolutely Incredible Kid Day (AIKD). On this day, adults and teens are encouraged to write, post, tweet, and tag (#AIKD) notes of encouragement and inspiration to the kiddos in their lives. As a teacher, you may think “Good grief, I do this every day.” And maybe you do. Or maybe you’re like some of us who know every kiddo is incredible in his or her own way but may not take the time to put our thoughts in writing or make a point of verbally sharing them.

So this Thursday, I encourage you to in some way remind every child in your class along with your own children, grandchildren, and family friends of their incredibleness. It’s a simple thing to do and extremely powerful. Everyday lives are changed by simple acts of love and kindness. Let’s do our part!

Thanks for all you do!

Diane
