A Zink in the Sink?

In my eyes, Dr. Seuss will forever rank as the greatest and most inspiring children’s author of all times. He’s a hoot, simply put. His rhymes, both silly and profound continue to inspire young and old alike. I mean, how can you say “green eggs and ham” and not grin?

Tomorrow, March 2, 2013, Theodore Seuss Geisel would be celebrating his 109th birthday. Therefore, I propose that, in his honor, silly rhymes be shared right here on this blog. Share your favorite Dr. Seuss rhyme or make up a silly rhyme of your own. Either way, share and show you care. Here’s my rhyme:

A hiccup in a pickup? A moose in a caboose?
Have you ever seen a zittle or a snittle on the loose?

Your turn!
Diane

  1. Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?

Oh, the wonderful things Mr. Brown can do!
He can go like a cow.
    He can go Moo Moo
    Mr. Brown can do it.
    How about you?

My kids love this book! I have read it over and over many times 🙂

  2. Can you believe we don’t have to go…
    Because of the snow…
    Oh NO NO NO
    Don’t you know….
On April 2 we’ll now have to go…

    The snow day was fun..
but our Easter Break is down by down by another one…

Couldn’t resist…we rarely have a snow day here. We always go..even on the snowiest of days! But today we did have the day off which means our Easter Break is now down to only Good Friday and Easter Monday. Ugh!
