A Teacher—and More

This past weekend, I went to a socially-distanced masked crafting retreat with a handful of women. I haven’t been to a retreat in a long time, but in my pre-Covid life it was something I used to do frequently. I love to create mixed media art in art journals—and it’s fun to be artsy with others.

Because teaching is so time consuming, people tend to think that it’s an identity, career, and hobby all rolled into one. Teaching, in my opinion, is the most important career there is, but you are that and so much more. You might also be a chef, knitter, painter, stained glass artist, baker, runner, foodie, yoga enthusiast, or science fiction reader.

Who are you? I want to know. 🙂
