When Otis the tractor and the farm animals notice a new scarecrow that never smiles, they leave it alone. But one cold, rainy autumn day, Otis and the animals reach out to the lonely figure in the cornfield. This is a perfect book for ages 3–7 to explore compassion, friendship, and standing up for others. (Update: Congratulations to Amy, who is the winner of this book!)

My students love the Survivors sereis!
My students love National Geographic Kids Magazine so I think they would also love the books.
I mentor teachers working with children in the state funded pre-k program. The extra paper would be so nice because of our tight budget. Personally, I love National Geographic materials
I would love to win some of the recycled paper. We recycle in our classroom and school.
I like the National Geographic Kids Magazines.
What a hard decision. I love them all, but my favorite is Earth Choice office paper. Our school always needs paper. My class would use this every day! Thank you for having these great giveaways!
Love the paper. We were just talking about it today. Love the scarecrow book too.
I would love to win the Earth Choice Award. We are just opening a new environmentally-focused preschool and we could really use the resources to help get the message across! All of the prizes are great though, and would be a plus in any classroom
I like Owen the Owl’s Great Giveaway. It is very important for today’s throwaway society to learn about conservation and sustainability. Jn my Kindergarten classroom the parents believe if the child makes a mistake they need to start again with a new sheet of paper. Ah!!!
The paper is the best. Every teacher could use more paper.
Being able to share the book, Otis and the Scarecrow, with our students will help reinforce our theme for the year of Pay It Forward. I love the National Geographic readers but winning the goodies from Earth Choice would really help out.
Owen the Owl’s Great Giveaway is great!
Otis the scarecrow would be perfect for Halloween coming. My class would love it!
My small school would find Forests Are a Hoot: Owen the Owl’s Great Giveaway, very useful. I like that it is common core aligned, that helps when lesson planning. Our theme of our classroom this year is owls and we will be learning about the forests of the world! It would be a hoot to have this resource. 🙂 Karen, thank you for the excellent job you do, we appreciate all that you do for us educators and those who have the privilege of teaching children.
I love all of the choices above! However, my heart goes out to any animal needing help – so my favorite would be the International Federation of Animal Welfare. There’s so much bad in the world – I’m glad to see some good as well!
All the books look interesting and as my class loves to read we would probably read all of them.
Kay K, you are welcome! We love letting teachers know about these great deals and fun finds. There’s so much good stuff out there!
We love National Geographic! Great choice!
I like the National Geographic offer
I like Owen the Owl’s paper giveaway.
