Trick or treat! No tricks—here’s your treat: Submit a comment to the blog by
11:59 pm EST Sunday, November 1, 2015, to tell me which of the contests below you’ve entered. From the comments, I’ll randomly select a teacher to win two books.
With Historium (Big Picture Press), the museum is open all hours. This big book features more than 130 artifacts from ancient civilizations. Then, in Every Person Has a History (Heinemann-Raintree), kids learn about basic research techniques so they can discover every person’s history!  (Update: congratulations to Carrie, who is the winner of our prize.)

  1. I entered the UMIGO, the egg themed prize pack, and the class act book give away. These all sound like they would be great prizes for my classroom. There were also a lot of good resources to look at.

  2. These books would be so great for the students in our Ancient History class. I am going to enter the Barnes and Nobles contest. Thanks for the information on it.

  3. I tried to enter on Halloween, (Trick-or-Treat for Cash, Prizes, Freebies, and More! Spooky? Not if You Enter by Halloween!”) and they had already ended!

  4. Thanks I did win this month- Wow both books are perfect for introducing research and are a perfect fit with the Common Core. Love both books and my students can not keep Historium closed. I must confess at first glance I was not impressed- but one look at both books and I have countless writing activities planned.

Teachers take a closer look at both books!!!!

Every one has a History is perfect for writing research.

    Thank You!!!
