I’m going to visit my parents in Michigan this week, and I made the assumption I would be able to wear a sweatshirt while there. That’s not the case according to the the weather forecast. Lower Michigan is supposed to be warmer on some days than it will be in North Carolina, where I currently live. That sweatshirt is right out, unless the forecast is incorrect. We all know that being a meteorologist is a tough job, because Mother Nature can be fickle and confusing.
Print this weather map activity sheet for your upper elementary students. It helps them recognize states and interpret data. Who knows, you might have a future meteorologist in your classroom!
