  1. I am excited about the new chapter books for ages 5-7. These students think it is so fabulous to read chapter books and I am always on the lookout for new ones to use with my students.

  2. I think the Whisperphones is the greatest sweepstakes! With so many students in our classrooms these days any bit of help to quiet things even a fraction is a winner in my eyes!! The students naturally need a chance to read aloud or how will they ever get better however when they are all trying to it at once it is too much.

  3. I LOVE Westcott scissors!! I entered that contest first! Then I entered the Purell contest. You can’t teach Kindergarten without a great pair of scissors and Purell for clean hands! =)

  4. I entered the Purell and Westcott entries. I like the Westcott scissors because they come in various sizes which is important for a mixed grade classroom. Some of my fifth graders need a bigger size than my kindergarten and first grade students.
Sanitizing in my classroom is especially important because I have some students with serious health concerns.

  5. I think the Westcott contest is top dog! Their scissors are great – and who couldn’t use an i-pad mini? So many possibilities…
