Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Two, four, six, eight.
Who do we appreciate?

You! You! You!

Is your week going well? I sure hope so! After all, this is your special (and might I add much deserved) week of appreciation. Y’all are the absolute best! Now, how might we celebrate here at the blog? Well, we could have a super-duper giveaway! How about this? I ask a question. You answer the question. Your name gets entered in a prize drawing for Teacher Appreciation Week! I think that works. Would you agree?

Before we begin, I have two important bits of info to share. First, to be entered in the drawing, you must respond before the end of the day Saturday, May 7. Second, additional questions will be posted throughout Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2–6). And you know what that means! Even more chances to win!

Today’s Question:
How long have you been teaching?

  1. I’ve been teaching for 24 years. I taught for 6 years in inner city Houston, Texas, and for 18 years on the North Slope of Alaska. Pretty diverse geographically and culturally, but I’ve found kids to be kids!
