Rose are red.
Violets are blue.
Who do I appreciate?
You, you, YOU!
I hope your Valentine’s Day is everything you wish for! What’s been your favorite part of the day so far?

My duaghter gave me one of her Valentines cards and my hubby brought me roses and a teddy bear.
This morning I hollered down the hall to my nephew that he needed to wear red today. He asked why and I replied that it was Valentine’s Day. His response…”I’m wearing pink!”
My ride to work was also fun via snowmobile…I got on behind my nephew with my dog on one arm (she stays at a house close to the school during the day) and a bag with two pans of brownie on the other.
To top it all off…I remembered to put in my red earrings and I’m wearing my red shoes!
I shared some stirring love poems by W.B. Yeats with our readers on WriteSteps Facebook fan page!
The best part of my day was partying with my 3 year class. What fun it was. Happy Valentines Day to all
It was a great day from the start – well except for the part that the doctors office never told me they moved the office when I tried to take my youngest to an appointment! (but we got that straightened out!- the hubby bought me roses, and even my preschoolers gave me flowers and a skirt for my purse and candy and other little goodies!!! Didn’t know i was so loved! We really appreciate Mailbox too!!!!
We made Mr. Heartbeat bags for our Valentine’s Day treats. We made lovebug headbands. And I got lots of heart boxes filled with chocolate (5!) from my students. I even got a new student!
Seeing my boys’ happiness when opening their valentines from their dad and I was a highlight for me. I hung up homemade heart pockets and suspended them from the ceiling. Each one had a tiny surprise inside and a time written on the outside. They had to watch the clock and open a heart at the matching time. This helped them practice their time skills and spread the valentine surprises throughout the day. My husband and I will exchange love letters after the kids are in bed. Still looking forward to that!
Nice message from you! Thank you for all you help us with! Happy Valentine’s!
My favorite part of Valentine’s Day in my classroom was watching my students open all their Valentines from their friends. Plus when one of my students shyly gave me a box of chocolates with Snoopy on the cover because she knows I love the Peanuts gang, and another girl proudly handed me a giant sucker that says, “Teachers Rule!” while exclaiming, “I picked it out myself!”
My kindergartners were reading their candy hearts. One boy said, “I’m going to save this one for my wife!” I peeked over his shoulder and read, “Be mine.”
How sweet!
