I know your time is precious, particularly with the holiday craziness looming. But just a few minutes of your time could pay off BIG! It can get you freebies for your classroom for coding, Common Core, and STEM. It can mean prizes of cash, gift cards, and more. My goal? Post a quick comment to this blog by 11:59 pm EST November 22, 2015, to tell me which of the freebies and contests below are your favorites. From the comments, I’ll randomly select one lucky teacher to win two huge hardback books with images and facts about animals. Wildlife of the World (DK and the Smithsonian) is a 480-page celebration of global wildlife, with photos of more than 400 animals. (This is a $50 book!) Then Counting Lions (Candlewick Press) is a big book that features charcoal drawings and poetic text about ten threatened species. (Update: congratulations to Dede, who is the winner of our prize.)

I really appreciate the information from Purell. Hand washing is one of the best ways to reduce germs but in preschool, it can be tough to always have access to a sink.
I like the IFAW give away and animal resources. I also like the Purell germs STEM activities and give away.
I like the Purell germs STEM activities and give away, as well as the IFAW give away and animal resources and the wild animal books. All will be great for research topics with my students.
I would LOVE to have the Wildlife of the World and Counting Lions books for my classroom! I teach Special Education and my students really enjoy learning about animals. I frequently use information from the IFAW and we talk about animal conservation. Currently we have been learning about gorillas and elephants.
DK and the Smithsonian are tops!
I enjoy sharing any book that shows wild animals as wild animals, Wildlife of the World seems to be doing just that. Counting with Lions… I love any kind of cat, both of the schools I work at have a cat as their mascots. I keep downloading materials from the site IFAW for use in the enrichment classes I teach. So many good resources to look at and use.
Ooh! What a great lot of goodness. The Dk and Purell giveaways look wonderful!
The OfficeDepot giveaway is so great! I would love to win that!
Love the UAF and the purell contest. My kiddos would love the books too.
My students love anything with animals!
Both books fit right into our curriculum and research projects.
Thank you for entering my name into the giveaways.
Purell or the Office Max contest would be fabulous!
Kids of all ages love animals! The books look like they are not only informative but that they have gorgeous photos/drawings too. Would love to add these books to my school library.
I love all three contests! As a teacher, who wouldn’t love to win anything?!?! LOL!! However, if I had to pick just one out of the three listed, I would have to say my favorite would be the $500 Amazon Gift Card!
I like the Purell STEM activities. I wouldn’t mind winning an i-pod too. ☺
Love the wildlife book- pictures are so cool! Amazon gift card to buy my own classroom stuff is great too.
Love the wild life book great for my preschoolers! Purell activities are fun and its great for all the teachers hands. Any of the prizes would be welcome for our not for profit school
Any gift card is good by me…but Amazon for sure!
Wildlife for the World and Counting Lions would be amazing additions to our classroom library. My students FLOCK to the books on animals and would find either of these books a treat! Thanks so much for all you do for teachers – we would be lost without all of the wonderful resources you share with us!
Bitsbox peeked my interest this month- coding might be fun but totally out of my comfort zone.
Coding looks like fun but out of my comfort zone – so I am interested thinking Bitsbox might be the winner
All of these prizes are Amazing!!!!!! My goodness I am super exited!
