November is a fairly light month, holiday-wise. I mean, Veterans Day is in the middle and Thanksgiving Day is down there near the end, but other than those two holidays, it’s pretty wide open. So give your students a grin with a mini celebration of National Doughnut Day, Saturday, November 5. (This is the second of two National Doughnut Days per year!) Here’s my thought—buy mini doughnuts and give one to each child for a special breakfast this Friday. Then sprinkle in some fabulous doughnut activities throughout the day.
