I will most definitely be entering the Orca books contest and the Kaplan Math contest. I mean… you can never have too many books right? 😉
As I begin a new school year with teaching young people how to play their favorite songs on the piano, I can not tell you how many students have confided in me their sensitivity and fears of confessing their encounters with bullies. Indeed young people are stepping up and speaking out like never before. Indeed it is not their fault.
I am entering the Orca Echoes Early Chapter Books and $50 Amazon Gift Card contest. Preschoolers love books. We could use the books for our classroom storytime and reading corner. The Amazon gift card would come in handy. I am needing puppets and flannelboard supplies for our preschool room and they have some nice items on Amazon. I love your blog and contests. Thank you for helping to us to prepare todays preschoolers to be tomorrows leaders.

Oh, I love Workman Publishing’s educational resources (from Sandra Boynton’s board books for toddlers to the BrainQuest series for elementary to middle school students), and the Westcott scissors are a dream! And because I firmly believe a child (or adult, for that matter) can never have too many books, I think the goodies from Albert Whitman & Company and from Orca Book Publishers look promising. 🙂
Love to have promotional materials and books to share with the 100+ school librarians I work with in Western New York. Thank You!
Hi Karen,
I am heading right to the Workman site when I finish this. The poster books sound very cool.
You asked me to let you know about the book I won from you. A Family Of Readers by Roger Sutton. I enjoyed the book and plan to put it in my Parent library. I think it will be a great asset to our Parents in part because the author covers so many reading levels. I think every teacher should pick this book up just to be able to recommend books for readers of all levels.
Thanks
Great give aways!!!! You can never have to many books!! We can always use new books to enhance our classroom libraries and to send home with children to encourage the love of reading. Some children do not have books at home, so it is wonderful to have enough books to share at school and home!!
I love all of the freebies and giveaways you do. Thank you! I am looking forward to getting my copy of the book Librarian on the roof!
Librarian on a roof? Whether it highlights a teacher’s need for a peace and quiet spot, or her desire to motivate in a new way, this book sounds like a winner!
Why do Elephants need the Sun?
Hi Amy,
I guess you’ll have to read the book to find out! Good luck in our contest! 🙂
Karen
Thanks for all of the opportunities to win prizes. I definitely want that elephant book!
I entered the Orca and Amazon contest. I would love to have the Dr. Carver in the Garden book. I could definitely use these books with many of my students. Thanks so much!
I would love the Librarian on the roof
What a great way to make the back-to-school experience fun!
