  1. I am looking forward to our vacation of a lifetime. we are spending 2 weeks in Hawaii. This has been on my bucket list for a very long time and I am so excited that we get to go!

  2. We are going to take a mini-vacation up the California coast to a beach town called Cayucos and the Danish community of Solvang. Then we are going to redo closets and get hard wood floors in the upstairs bedrooms. It is going to make a huge difference in cleaning and temperature! I can’t wait!

  3. My summer plans are….having my first baby!!! I am due August 27th 🙂 Hopefully I will find out soon what grade I will be teaching next year so that I can set my classroom up early in the summer.

  4. Looking forward to sleeping in, staying out late, eating outside and listening to the sound of silent fireflies in the moonlight yard. Thats what I’m looking forward to. 🙂

  5. You’re only human: a guide to life looks like a book everyone needs. Handwriting without tears is a great site. Susan

  6. My plans for summer are taking a children’s lit class. With all the assigned reading I will have I will just have to sit outside on my swing reading all summer. Such torture. LOL

I love Handwriting without tears and use it in my classroom. I wil be checking out their new resources for sure.

  7. READING! I am taking two classes towards my reading specialist certification. I am reading lots of books to increase my effectiveness in the classroom – Guided Reading by Fountas/Pinnell, Teach Like a Champion, etc. And last but not least relaxing and reading for pleasure. I love summer vacation!

  8. I will be taking Handwriting without Tears and Al’s Pals trainings. I will also read, read, read, and visit my kids. Of course, I will be checking out Mailbox site for all the new items.

  9. I’m looking forward to enjoying time with friends and family, and getting ready to teach in a new district because I’m relocating to be closer to my new fiance and both of our families. My new room has a smartboard, so I look forward to having time to prepare interactive lessons to use with my new class! And of course reading 🙂

  10. Donna, not to give away too much but you are going to be THRILLED with what’s coming up on The Mailbox website for back to school!

  11. I am excited to be planning for my first classroom next year. So many things to do, but so very exciting! Thank you for all the great resources and giveaways!
