If you were to look at my Facebook feed over this past weekend, you would assume that I was the only person not frolicking on the beach. I had friends lazing by the ocean, lounging by lakes, and cruising on ships. Alas, I stayed at home. It was relaxing, but I can’t help but look at all of those sandy, sunscreen-covered friends with a bit of longing. I love the sound of the waves.

On a scale of 1-10 my summer is a 9! Doing activities I love. Visiting with my two grandkids. We took them to a splash park that my older grandson loved. I also am enjoying working in my garden. Last but not lease visiting with my teacher friends for lunch.
