  1. I like all the freebies, but I like to try to win free books for my 2nd grade classroom. Thanks for this offer.

  2. I am teaching about birds in the after-school 21st Century program April to May, so the book Look Up would be a nice addition to my book list as well as the other two. I have an owl that “talks” to me when I walk.

  3. The Webinar sponsored by Handwriting Without Tears sounds like one I’d like to be able to participate in.
The books would be great with my students.

  4. I love Handwriting without Tears. Such a great program and the kids really get it.

Would love to win the books.

  5. My interest has been piqued with the “Backyard Biology” book. We have an outdoor classroom at our school that does not get used nearly enough. Maybe one of the projects in this book could give me some ideas. Thank you – hope I win!

  6. The Look Up book would be wonderful. We installed birdhouses around our school and it would help identify and provide information for the students who are monitoring them.

  7. Wow-tough decision this month… Everything sounds so good. I would love to learn more about handwriting without tears, and the Art2-D2’s Guide to Folding and Doodling sounds fascinating. Note to self: Must check out Learning mag contests.

  8. We always can use more and more books. My students earn “good learning” tallies, and are given or give themselves “reminder” tallies to have them pay attention to behaivors that do not help their learning. Periodically, they can use their good learning tallies to trade in for classroom dollars which can be used to “buy” books and school supplies,

I therefore choose to wi a library of 17 hardcover books from the I Like to Read series!

  9. I think the Backyard Biology and I Have a Garden would be an excellent additive to my Day Care & Preschool Children

  10. I would love the I like to Read series. But all of these would be welcome additions to my classroom.
    Keeping my fingers crossed.

  11. I love Shel Silverstein. I am introducing poetry this month and how it does not have to rhyme. Thanks for the link!

  12. How to choose! Any book is a wonderful thing to share with students. I love the I Like to Read set b/c I want to instill alcove of reading in my Kinders!

  13. Backyard Biology looks like it would be a great addition (as the others do) to my 1st grade classroom library. Thanks much for the opportunity to win the Science related books.

  14. Backyard Biology looks like it would have some great ideas for taking the children outside & doing some projects! Thanks for the contest. :o)

  15. as a family child care educator we would love these books, science & nature is a big part of my curriculum.

  16. I love the Backyard Biology and Bee Life because my I know my Preschool children would enjoy them as well.

  17. I think the Backyard Biology would be great for my class. I teach a special education class and they learn better with hands on activities that these books would provide.

  18. I would love any of these books…I teach in an EBD classroom n my kids love all books-they r in k-4 th grade. I’d really like “backyard Biology” for some hands on ideas n I love “Handwriting without Tears” it’s amazing! I taught in an autism unit last year n one of my students went from barely legible to lovely printing in about 6 weeks.

  19. Spring Has Sprung looks like a goldmine for any teacher! I’d be happy to share these with the teachers that I work with as an Instructional Coach!

  20. I would love to have this set of books. I live in Minnesota, we got almost a foot of snow yesterday, and another storm is coming this weekend. I don’t have much creditably left with the early childhood class.
