  1. This website is fantastic. Not only do I get an opportunity to find out about upcoming contests and freebies, but I also have won! I love this site and have just entered the X-Acto contest. Good luck to all!

  2. I just entered the X-ACTO give away.
Why is it that so many give aways and grants exclude preschool? I teach special needs preschool and need all the help I can get.

  3. I registered for a chance to win the X-Acto classroom giveaway. I sure could use a decent pencil sharpener and stapler! The one I have wastes a lot of time, and doesn’t do a very good job. Thanks!

  4. I entered the X-ACTO giveaway. My classroom could use an electric pencil sharpener! 🙂 Thanks for giving us all a chance to enter. 🙂

  5. The new contests are great! I entered the X-ACTO contest and the Westcott contest. I have used the X-ACTO paper cutter and I also own a few pairs of the Westcott scissors that my preschoolers use. Both of these brands of products carry nice supplies. Thanks for offering us these contests.

  7. I entered the xacto contest. I was a bit sad to see the Kids in Need grants doid not allow preK teachers to apply. I would of loved too. But I was very excited about the Xacto contest. Karen you always find the best resources. Thanks.

  8. I entered the Wescott and the Xacto contests. Hope I win!! Thanks for letting us know of these contests and giveaways–every little bit helps.

  9. I entered the Xacto giveaway and I’m going to check out the grants for sure. Thank you for the work you’re doing to help teachers and students.

  10. Thanks for always keeping us in the loop, Karen!! I signed up for the Xacto give away and looked over the Kids in Need grants. I’m on vacation right now and will start thinking about what kind of grant I want to write for this year…it’s always good to dream, and why not do it on the beach!??!!

  11. I entered the Xacto giveway. I think these contests/giveaways are great. I am a new teacher, so im always looking for new things! Thank you!!!

  12. I signed up for the Xacto give away and for the Kids in Need grant. We always seem to have budget cuts that effect our pre-k program, so I am always looking for free ways to enhance our teaching/learning.

  13. All teachers applying for a grant from the Kids In Need Foundation will receive a package of bulletin board and poster supplies valued at $25 from ArtSkills. ArtSkills is a longtime supporter of the Kids In Need Foundation.

  14. Hi Penny,
That’s terrific—thank you for the additional information! This opportunity just gets better and better!

  15. I entered the X-ACTO $250 Classroom Giveaway and will be passing along the additional information from Penny Hawks regarding the Kids in Need Foundation grant. Sure do wish I could “attend” the free online workshop, but it’s scheduled for the exact time my SIL is giving birth to my first niece!

  16. Congratulations, Leslie! The Barker Creek materials are wonderful. You and your students are really going to enjoy them!
