Submit a comment to the blog by 11:59 pm EDT Sunday, April 12, 2015, to tell me what are your favorites when you click on the resources below. One lucky teacher will win four books focused on poetry. Out and About: A First Book of Poems follows Katie and Olly through a collection of poetic sights. Then an owl with an unusual passion for poetry learns to shine in Otto the Owl Who Loved Poetry. Strange and silly critters are featured in the collection of poems by Calef Brown in Hypnotize a Tiger: Poems About Just About Everything. In The Death of the Hat: A Brief History of Poetry in 50 Objects, trace the canon from the Middle Ages to contemporary poems.  (Update: congratulations to Brenda, who is the winner of our prize.)
