I love five-ingredient cooking recipes, don’t you? Well here’s a five-ingredient craft idea that makes me smile. All you need is a paper lunch bag, cupcake liners, an orange paper triangle, a marker, and glue. Put them all together and look what you get—a cute-as-a-button bird that’s versatile and adaptable. A student can fill her paper bag with shredded paper, or she can use the decorated bag to store word cards for the month, math flash cards, or note cards bearing owl research. Or maybe you want to save the project for use during a polar animal study. Switch out the brown bag for a white one, and you have a snowy owl!
Now I have to wonder: what quick craft ideas do you have? Please share!

Quick paint with a new texture twist equal parts glue, shaving cream, and a few drops of food coloring so easy to prepare and clean up I love it. The best when it dries it is 3D and puffy
OR…turn the bag upside down, glue the parts on the flap as shown, and it’s an owl PUPPET!
I use paperbags that are stuffed and folded down to create a house. The kids then make it look like their house.
