My Vote? Presidential Pets! Win the Book

It’s about time. It’s about curiosity. It’s about stickiness. No, I’m not referring to the upcoming election, appropriate as it may seem. I’m talking about all I have for you today that you can win for your classroom, including a book about the animal residents of the PresidentialPets_FinalWhite House coupled with fun facts and presidential stats.

  1. I can always use the Elmer’s products. No matter what age or grade I teach, I can never have enough glue or project materials!

  2. There are always TOO many great choices in your blog to choose from … however, if I must narrow my decision down to one … I think the TIme Timer Plus would be a great addition to our classroom this year. There is never enough time in the day to get it all done, so this might be just the solution we need to help us stay on track with our busy schedule and to learn about elapsed time, etc. Thanks so much for all of the wonderful posts and opportunities to score goodies for the classroom! MUCH appreciated!

  3. Time Timer Plus would be an awesome addition to my classroom! This would really help with transitions and making sure activities don’t run over without me realizing it.

  4. I downloaded the Curiosity day activity day kit. What a wonderful way to start my Kindergarten kids thinking, wondering, and asking questions. All standards that they need to be successful!

  5. After a year as Early College Liaison in a high school, I am ready to get my hands dirty in my elementary classroom again! Bring on the Elmer’s!

  6. I would lover to have the Time Timer Plus in my classroom. It would be a great visual for how much time is left in an activity. I could also use the Elmer’s products in my classroom. You can never have to much glue, the kids are always needing more.

  7. I would love to use the President book with it being an election year. A good writing activity might be for students to write about a pet they would have live with them in the White House. That looks awesome!

  8. I’m looking forward to reading Presidential Pets: The Weird, Wacky, Little, Big, Scary, Strange Animals that Have Lived in the White House. Looks like a wonderful book.

  9. I like to have resouces to share with my university students who are working on getting their teaching certification.

  10. I love the Time Timer! Students can see how much time they have remaining to complete their task. I will download the Curious George kit and have a Curious Day on September 17. Presidential Pets will be a treat for my students to hear!

  11. I love the Time Timer! Students can see how much time they have remaining to complete their task. I will download the Curious George kit and have a Curious Day on September 17. Presidential Pets will be a treat for my students to hear!

  12. Stress-free classroom management is my favorite type of classroom management! The Time Timer Plus with the sound option will be very popular with my students.

  13. I would love the Presidential Pets books. It is so important for kids (and adults) that the first family is a “family.” Many families have pets just like them. Also books like these humanize someone that they see on TV.

  14. You can never, ever have enough glue! The Elmers pa k would ensure that there is enough glue for everyone! The class that glues together, sticks together!!

  15. My class would LOVE Presidential Pets!! What a fun and new way to incorporate some history during an election year. Please pick me!! 😀

  16. Presidential Pets would be my choice. The students call me The Animal Lady as I’m always getting insects, snakes, spiders, all kinds of things from the kids and have quite a few habitats in my classroom for them. I would love to see how we fair with the Presidents. Thanks. 🙂
