I wish you all a peaceful Memorial Day and a quick reminder of the purpose of this day. Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day because people decorated soldiers’ graves with wreaths and flowers. Although many of us have cookouts and outdoor activities because it’s a day off work, don’t forget to honor those who have died on duty for our country.
