A coeditor, who shall remain nameless, sent me this meme the other day. She said that she wasn’t insinuating that I was clumsy, but no doubt, she’s seen me trip over my own feet as I walk to the copy room. Why are people always watching when that happens? I try to transform it into a jaunty little dance step. (See? I meant to do that.) I’m not fooling anyone. Plus that kind of behavior will lead people to think I’m a little addled.
Perhaps if I had better gross-motor activities as a child, these things would happen less frequently. Alas, we’ll never know! Here are some great activities that will help your little ones conquer those complicated gross-motor skills!
