My students would love “Rags, the Hero Dog of WWII,,,” They love any books about dogs and this one would be always be in demand!
OHH they all look wonderful but I can see Abandoned Towns without people being a huge hit. They al sound great and I for one will be reading them.
I love them all! But “Examining the Evidence—Seven Strategies for Teaching with Primary Sources” looks very informative and right in line with Common Core standards.
They all look like good reads.
I would use Rags Hero Dog of WW1 and Top Secret Files – World War II could be used in the same semester.
Abandoned! Towns Without people and Examining the Evidence could be used in connection with each other or as literary circles.
My kids would love any of these choices as independent reading.
My students would yip with joy for “Rags, the Hero Dog of WWI”!
Historical Fiction is my favorite genre—can’t wait to read these new additions!
I teach 6th grade Social Studies. These would make excellent additions to our classroom library and would give me more of an opportunity for centers teaching.
These look like good books to get interested in history for my younger students.
