Leap Day Giveaway!

Leap Day frog

This is a super-duper day for many reasons! Here are three of my favorites:

1.         It’s the 500th post at The Mailbox Blog. Can you believe it?

2.         Since it’s Leap Day, I can ask any man to marry me. George, would you be mine?

3.         We’re having a GIVEAWAY!

This giveaway is a one-day event. All ya need to do is tell us your all-time favorite book from The Mailbox and we’ll enter your name in our drawing. But you’d better hurry! Once March 2012 rolls in, no more entries will be accepted.

Happy Leap Day!

Diane

Y’all were such great participants we chose TWO giveaway winners!

  1. I go WAY back with Mailbox. My FAVORITE all time was the Feb/March 2003 one for primary teachers. I have used this one multiple times for all grades that I have taught. I love the airplane template for something special we like to do. I have made the hearts in there, the hats for Cat in the Hat. Chocolate math has always been a favorite as well!

  2. I love the Busy Kid’s series…both books (Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter!) it’s what I always fall back on while teaching. I teach a weekly curriculum while nannying a 4 yr old boy : )

  3. My favourite mailbox book of all time…so far, is the Day-by-Day Kindergarten plans. It helped me to organize my year when I was having a rough time last year. Thank you thank you thank you!!

  4. I love the Language Arts and Math Independent Practice books for grade 2. The ideas are great practice and practical to put together.

  5. My favorite Mailbox book is Everything Nursery Rhymes and Everything Numbers! That is suchh a great series of books! 🙂 Happy Leap Day to you!!! 🙂

  6. My favorite mailbox book to use in my class is The Day By Day Preschool Lesson Plans. It has lessons and ideas for themes all school year long!

  7. I love the Mailbox monthly magazine because of the new ideas each month and I also have to say that the Mailbox Superbook for 1st grade is another book that I use alot.

  8. The monthly magazine (Grades 2-3) is my all time favorite. I gave many of my editions away to new teachers and I wish I still had them!

  9. I love the Best of the Mailbox Arts and Crafts Grade K-1. It’s my go-to book when I need an idea fast, and they’re always so cute and look super on bulletin boards.

  10. The Everyday themese for prek!!!It’s a must have – but then I couldn’t really pick just one of my mailbox books – The Organize now series is a major part of my planning as well!

  11. I love the monthly magazines too. I use several of the activities in my classroom. I can’t wait to get the next issue.

  12. The monthly Kindergarten magazines are my curriculum (and mindset) “rejuvenators”! I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting those! They fire me back up for the month/theme ahead and give me new ideas. Thanks!

  13. I love the Mailbox yearbooks.
But really I love all your books because without fail I can find a great theme or project to do.

  14. I loved the Mailbox Bookbag magazine, a publication which is sadly a thing of the past. We still keep the old issues, and they are a great resource!

  15. My favorite book is the Mailbox 2-3.I ordered my first subscription 26 years ago, and still have every issue since then. I love the Mailbox Magazine.

  16. Sorts of All Sorts for Grade 1- awesome center activities

(Can I also make a plea here for a second grade version? I moved up a grade a miss it!)

  17. The annual book that was left by the teacher I replaced in 2007 and the teacher that kept monthly magazines while I was student teaching. I know the educator had been teaching for a while and these years were not current.

Current editions get better. Previous editions are still current and wonderful for your classroom.

    Yeah!

  18. Just one?! I can’t pick just one! The yearbooks (any), Mailbox (pick any month & any year!!), Science Investigations, Math File Folders, Language Arts File Folders…I love them all! I truly do!

  19. How to choose???

    If not Mailbox Magazine, then
